This little guy got a positive response in critique, and he was really my favorite idea to come out of the whole process when trying to design that environmental logo. I knew i wanted to develop him a little bit more, and add color to him. This is what I came up with so far. He started as a hand sketch, then I cleaned up the design with Photoshop and finally Illustrator. The ghost is a sticker printed with my inkjet printer. The can is, of course, spraypainted, complete with drips. I plan on making a handpainted version of this guy as well on a bigger can I have already spraypainted. He may become a recurring character so stay tuned…

What is important here is PROCESS (right, Professor?)… These look like ess now, but any one of these could look amazing with a little TLC (that’s tender loving care… not The Learning Channel… although that might help too…)
